[lwlan-user] editing rc.local

I'm trying to set up my microsoft mn-510 adapter with my wep enabled basestation. I'm supposed to edit the rclocal file with this
"
     modprobe prism2_usb
     wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_ifstate ifstate=enable
     wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_autojoin ssid=<your APs SSID> authtype=sharedkey
     ifconfig wlan0 <yourIP> netmask <yourNetmask> broadcast <yourBroadcast>
     route add default gw <yourGateway>
"

Here comes my question, how do I find my IP? Is it the assigned ip that I recieve when I do "ifconfig -a " and look for ip under wlan0 ? the netmask the same thing? is broadcast the channel number? and gateway the same as gateway address? So supposing it is, and I have those numbers filled in, is everything else ok?

Thank you
Daniel
