[lwlan-user] Re: Please give me hope on an orinoco classic gold or proximo orinoco gold card

A follow up on some things. I went back a few kernel versions to 2.6.7 played some more.

If I went in and made an entry into pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf

#card "I-Gate 11M PC Card"
# version "INTERSIL", "I-GATE 11M PC Card / PC Card Plus", "Version 01.02"
# manfid 0x0156, 0x0002
# bind "prism2_cs"

# This was based on cardctl info
card "Lucent Technologies WaveLAN/IEEE"
    manfid 0x0156, 0x0002
    bind "orinoco_cs"

And insert my Orinoco Classic Gold...
I get this...

Feb 24 01:25:59 loki cardmgr[15097]: socket 0: Lucent Technologies WaveLAN/IEEE
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki orinoco_cs.c 0.13e (David Gibson <hermes at gibson.dropbear.id.au> and others)
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: Station identity 001f:0001:0008:0048
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: Looks like a Lucent/Agere firmware version 8.72
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: Ad-hoc demo mode supported
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: IEEE standard IBSS ad-hoc mode supported
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: WEP supported, 104-bit key
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: MAC address 00:02:2D:C0:84:D2
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: Station name "HERMES I"
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: ready
Feb 24 01:25:59 loki eth1: index 0x01: Vcc 5.0, irq 11, io 0x0100-0x013f

But now I am off into eth1 land, and none of my wlan0 configuration with linux-wlan-ng applies. What can I do?
