Hello,
I use the latest wlan-ng-USB-drivers (0.2.1pre9 with 0.2.0 - scripts) and
linux 2.4.21rc4 without problems (at least after upgrading the firmware of my
Siemens Connectbird USB adapter). But when I try to upgrade to a newer kernel
(plain 2.4.21final or 2.4.22pre3) nothing works:
the wlan0 device does not initialize, and as soon as the X-Server starts
(strange???), the whole system hangs with blinking keyboard leds.
The only hint I find in the logs is

prism2_init: prism2_usb.o: 0.2.1-pre9 Loaded
prism2_init: dev_info is: prism2_usb
registered new driver prism2_usb
usb-uhci.c: $Revision: 1.275 $ time 18:50:21 Jul  7 2003
usb-uhci.c: High bandwidth mode enabled
:
and later

prism2sta_probe_usb: prism2_usb: hfa384x_corereset() failed.

I switched back to 2.4.21rc4 - no problems anymore.
Is this a general problem with latest kernels? IIRC there was no change in
USB between 2.4.21pre4 and 2.4.21final.
