Maybe your card is already dead and it's time for genesis mode
(I've never done this, only read some instructions) ?
Does it still work with normal Linux/Windows drivers?

Well, I've tried to make it work with latest USR drivers on win98 and USR wireless LAN utility, but when I click on enable radio, it answers "unable to comunicate with device driver. Status=10.0".
I don't know if it worked previously as I never tried it on windows (I took the card from a windows PC but I think it wasn't working).
What is that genesis mode? A new name for "go buy a new card"? :)
